Our goal
Our goal is to have a complete line up with the audio equipement you need for high fidelity listening. Our products shall be a reference for well sounding and aestetically pleasing audio equipment on the market.
Why we do this
We design and build hand made high fidelity audio equippement in Gothenburg Sweden. We do this because not only do we love sound and engineering, we are obsessed about it. The principles behind the design is genuinely about making it right from the beginning and we guarantee that there are no corners cut. Röcklinger products are true to the original and true to the intended sound of the recording. We pay a lot of focus to the fact that every detail counts.
The beginning
This is the story of life when sometimes, things just falls right...
It all began with the urge to create audio amplifiers which truly are of highest quality and being true to the original recording. The founding engineer, Mr Röcklinger himself build his first high fidelity amplifier as a dare with his friends back in 1972. This experience planted a seed to what would later become the brand it is today. He had been working with amplifier and radio repair most of his life as a hobby, when one day, his dream of creating something of his own, something new, was about to be realized.
The first sparks started to fly when Mr Röcklinger met the two other founding engineers when they all three worked at the same place, at the same time developing sound processors. All three engineers were working as system engineers in different departments with different areas of expertise. It would later come to show that it was not only the job title they would have in common.
Mr Röcklinger was presented to a colleague with a unique and unprecedented knowledge in electronic design who would give more input than one could ever imagine. The collaboration resulted in endless discussions on how to design high quality audio amplifiers right from the ground up, and years of accumulated knowledge was put to the test. Eventually a final design and a prototype emerged. Now it needed to be packaged into a physical box, and they came across another engineering colleague with mechanical design as background. Little did they know that he also showed to possess product development skills, a talent for listening from endless hours working in music studios and a tremendous drive force. The three system engineers all had the diverse skills needed to embark on a journey towards the dream of creating something of their own, something new, something excellent.
What started as discussions around the coffee breaks developed into an idea that grew into a force to be reckoned with.
